Nordic Skiing: Cross Country and Biathlon

Weight and off snow training as well as on snow and roller ski training take place inhouse or in the immediate vicinity of the school. The demanding cross country skiing track, named after our former student and Olympic champion Dario Cologna, passes right by the school. The less ascending but significantly longer tracks begin in Scuol and lead all the way to the Swiss border town Martina.

Various glacier skiing resorts including Stelvio, Schnalstal, Pitztal and Kaunertal can be reached in a 1 to 2.5 hour drive and offer perfect training options during springtime and autumn.

Biathletes can shoot on two targets at the Dario Cologna skiing track during the winter season. During summer, they have the possibility to rifle shoot at nearby Sclamischot.

Our training facilities include a gym featuring trampoline and airtrack, ergometer, weight and gymnastics room, therapy room, two tennis courts, football field, 100 m sprint track, skateboard mini ramp, slackline, outdoor trampoline as well as countless bike and hiking trails at the school’s doorstep.

Training schedule Nordic Skiing

The training schedule is prepared individually and developed according to the needs of each student. On school days, training units take place on a daily basis and are adjusted to the classroom schedule. During some holidays, the sports academy also organises training camps.
